About me
Betsy Alvarez is an experienced and versatile creative professional. Her career began in 2002 with 6 years at a a healthcare ad agency, as an art director in New York and London. In 2009 she left agency life and has been creating with her own clients ever since. As a freelance designer, her skills range from conceptual creative direction to hands on design and illustration. A majority of her recent work has been branding design, page layout, magazine, and workbook design. She currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida and is looking to continue connecting with European and international clients for projects.
Her education is as follows: she graduated from Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2002 with a BS in Graphic Design.
Outside of design work, Betsy is an artist, craft artist, and writer.
