About me

I am a Scriptwriting graduate of Bournemouth University and I feel that the experience I gained from here would be invaluable to this role. I am now currently working as a freelance Production Assistant at Skill Boosters and Inclusive Learning. The company specialises in producing Equality and Diversity training vias drama and documentary. My main responsibilities include, writing the scripts for these dramas and editing all the footage together in an educational, fresh and dynamic way; designing and writing copy for our promotional flyers and website; helping clients with technical issues and carrying out research. As writing is my forte, I am an excellent proofreader and exceedingly adaptable to writing in different styles and tones of voice. As a passionate writer, I am looking to enter into a more writing focused role. I feel that I would excel in this position, because it requires someone who can not only articulate themselves in a professional manner, but also someone who has an ability to create interesting, informative and captivating content. I have had numerous work placements before settling into my current job role, from article writing, interviewing and photography for DV8 magazine, to creating promotional video, writing interview questions, designing and creating website content at New Writing South, to writing press releases and theatre reviews for Premier PR, to producing creative copy for the Chronicle Newspaper, as well as writing articles for an online student magazine, Kaboosh. Throughout University I was able to explore many different regions of writing, such as shorts, features, content and copy, as well as an array of genres and tones. University also gave me the chance to work with an array of people and through this I gained an ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings ...(I don't know about you, but I think I just described a chameleon
