About me

I am a young and enthusiastic Account Manager who is looking for an exciting freelance opportunity. I have decided to take a leap from Marketing into the world of Horticulture and have recently been accepted at KLC College of Design to begin their Diploma in Garden Design in January '09. Until then I am keen to find a new challenge by freelancing in the media world I love. I thrive on working as part of a team, creating something together from scratch into a masterpiece. Working with people around me is so important; I am naturally sociable and can't enjoy the fruits of my labour without team mates there to enjoy them too. That is why I love Advertising so much - you are always part of a team, putting your brains together to come up with something special, something that maybe one brain couldn't come up with alone. Personalities and individual characters compliment one another.

I am a hard worker, and know how to play hard too. I married in 2006 but am (I hope!) still young at heart. I enjoy nights at gigs and festivals but also love to stay at home to cook and watch movies. I have rekindled my love for reading since my honeymoon and am working on rediscovering my love for sport - I was a big sportsman at school - captain for our 2nd XII for 3 years and am embarking on training for the New York marathon in November! Travel is another passion - I trekked for 6 weeks in the Himalayas at the age of 15 and have taught in a Kenyan school for 5 months.
