About me
I graduated from Wolverhampton University in 2010 with a BA (hons.) in Graphic Communication. Since then I have continued my studies part time with an MA in Art and Design: Illustration at the same university, whilst also working full time for my family business. Since graduating from my undergraduate degree I have been active in design both for my current employer and on a freelance basis. I have come to a point in my life where I want to focus on my career as a designer by aligning myself with a driven, innovative company, where I can produce high impact, quality work and have fun in the process!
I am competent with multi-media and editorial design; however my real passion lies in creating brand and visual identities, logos and character designs. This allows me to use my skills as an illustrator, as well as a graphic designer. My own style of design and illustration lends itself particularly to products that are aimed
at children or young adults and I have some experience in designing for these audiences. My most recent and currently ongoing piece of work involves creating a character and visual identity for the Brilliant Brains Partnership Project in Nechells, Birmingham, which works with children and adults to aid in enhancing a child's educational experience.
