I am writing to express my interest in applying for the role of Junior Creative Art worker.
I am a dedicated worker and commit myself to any job or task that I have been set ensuring it its carried out in a professional manner. I drive to succeed and have strong willingness to learn. I have a proven track record whilst working as a member of a team or as an individual. I am used to dealing with high pressure situations and conducting myself in a proficient and courteous manner. I'm always keen to prove myself in the workplace and have no hesitation with putting in extra work where needed.
I have experience of working in the media industry from the freelance work that I have been doing since leaving university. The latest was work for Newman and Spurr Consultancy which involved contract work for the Ministry Of Defence. My role there was multimedia designer. This was a mixture of animation, graphic design, web design and illustration. I was part of a team of graphic designers & animators creating two web based XML training modules and in an illustrated paper form manual for specialist military equipment.
After leaving university I participated in an unpaid internship in London for a chauffeur company. As a group of designers we were asked to re brand the whole company's image & website.
During my education I worked on a number of project for small local companies
(Terry Mathews Creative & Square Root Solutions). This was mainly graphic design & some animation work that went towards my final grades.
My skills in different disciplines of creative design include graphic design, typography, photography & of which I acquired from my academic studies at university (BA Animation) & college (BTEC National Interactive Media) (BTEC First Art & Design).These skills also include knowledge of using programs such as Photoshop,Illustrator, After Effects, 3DS Max,Final Cut Pro, & technical skills in both Mac & Pc which I believe possess all the attributes you require for this position.
