To whom it may concern,

When reading the job description I felt like I met all of the criteria. I am a driven young man who eager to learn new skills and push myself to the full potential of my abilities. I am confident in the work I produce and enjoy challenging briefs. I am a multi disciplinary designer who strives to create simple, clean and functional design. I believe design is all about problem solving.

The only criteria I don't fall slightly short on is 'industry experience' as I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in July of this year, with a degree in Graphic Arts & Design. Do not let this put you off, since then I have been working as a freelance designer, project managing, with several clients on my books. I am applying for this position because I want to be part of a bigger team and learn the Ins and outs of the industry that you don't get taught at art school. You said you need a designer ASAP and I am eager to start as soon as possible!
