About me

I have managed the team responsible for publishing the Five (formerly Channel Five) Press Information document (PI) for the last three years. This is a business-to-business publication created to a tight weekly deadline, using QuarkXpress. My responsibilities include feature-writing, proof-reading, interviewing celebrities and members of the public, issuing errata and dealing with queries from clients. I have decided to leave management in order to find a role which features more writing, which is a passion of mine.

I am friendly, enthusiastic and hard-working, with a love of music, films, art and literature. I can write quick, accurate, entertaining copy on a wide variety of subjects. I have had news stories and music reviews published in local papers in my native Wiltshire; news stories and interviews published in the Epsom and Ewell Herald; and travel articles published in the Independent on Sunday. Pdfs of Five PIs, and newspaper clippings, are available on request. I currently live in Battersea and am looking for a post in London, but I am happy to travel as part of the job. I am also happy to work irregular hours.
