About me

I'm an Italian girl, and I've just finished an MA in Image and Communication at Goldsmiths College (London) and I really would like to improve my experience in the field of photography as a professional world. I firstly fell in love with photography when I was just a child, observing my grandfather taking pictures with his Rolleiflex, the real love of his life. Then, pushed by curiosity, I started taking my own whit a one-way yellow Kodak and I've never quit. Instead of my previous studies (I graduated in Philosophy with a dissertation based on the photographical vision of Susan Sontag) I've always been into photography and practically speaking I have a good knowledge of both analog and digital cameras (standard and medium format). Besides, before moving to London last September, I used to work for one year in an Italian photo-agency (Photomovie) where I learned the fundamental skills of studio photography and postproduction. Details and close-up characterize my pictures; I feel really comfy in taking pictures of both people and still life, paying attention to the goal I want to reach. Despite my natural affection for photography, I'm really interested as well in other forms of visual communication (from graphic design up to illustration) and I really would like to increase my visual knowledge in order to find a role into the communication field, having the chance to assist and learn new skills working inside a team contest. I am an enthusiastic, passionate and deeply curious person; I love dealing with new ideas as well as reshaping established ones and I firmly believe the power of visual culture can change the world if used in a smart way by the right people. I feel I could fulfil everything you require thanks to my strong sense of versatility and my multi skilled approach to work (and world).
