I write in response to the 'Junior Digital Designer' vacancy advertised online on creativepool.co.uk

I believe that I could successfully fulfill this position due to my skills and knowledge in the area of digital design. This would be an ideal opportunity for me to apply my qualifications and experience. I believe I would be a benefit to your company due to my strong creative design skills but also my passion for all things digital. I would love to have the chance to work for you're company not only because you are an award winning digital communications agency but to work with your impressive range of high end clients. I therefore feel that this position would provide me with invaluable knowledge by allowing me to work along side experienced designers to further my skills and knowledge.

As my CV illustrates I'm a graphic design graduate from Nottingham Trent University looking to start a successful life long career. Since graduating I have been working for a company which I have been aiding in the their rebrand. I have also been freelancing for a web design and IT consulting company where I have gained first hand experience in a wide variety of digital and print skills. This position has also given me excellent knowledge in the importance of communication, not only face to face, but also over the phone and by email.

I believe I am a suitable candidate in view of my excellent knowledge and experience in the Adobe CS5 Suite including, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I also have a good understanding of HTML, CSS and Flash. I am competent at using both PC and Apple Mac platforms.

Sector Experience

As my CV illustrates I’m a graphic design graduate from Nottingham Trent University. Since Graduating I have traveled south East Asia and have been Interning at Artlines Media. At Artlines I worked mainly as a UI designer where I designed and conceptualized custom build website interfaces specifically tailored to individual clients needs. This Experience has given me a great understanding of Photoshop and a key eye for detail when . This position has given me an excellent understanding in the importance of organization and time management. It has also allowed me to demonstrate my ability to take a project from an initial briefing all the way through to a final outcome.
