Ben's work
About Ben
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for the job vacancy advertised at present or any in the near future that may suit me.
In 2007 I graduated from the University of Surrey with a 2:1 Master of Physics degree. As part of my degree I spent my research year working a naval base in Gosport. Here I created 3D computer models of nuclear fuel rods to ensure radiation safety while transported.
Through this I was then inspired to use 3D software as a hobby for several years and am proficient in the use of Maxon Cinema 4D for modelling and motion graphics and also have some basic knowledge of 3Ds Max. Some of my work can be viewed on my Vimeo and DeviantArt accounts in the links below. Originally I was creating projects purely for fun but recently have also been commissioned to create several promo videos and other work.
Although a bit of a departure from the work I did at University I am keen to work in the motion graphics industry so that I can satisfy my creative side and produce something that both I and other people will hopefully find entertaining and exciting to watch. My ambition is to be part of a team that will allow me to continue my interest at a professional level.
Yours sincerely, Ben Raymond.
