About me
I am the founder of the audience-first Design Agency, Studio BND. We work with brands, companies and platforms to humanise their audience, to help them build greater understanding around who they are meant to be communicating with and deliver standout creative content which connects, entertains and delivers.
Alongside the day to day of BND I also lecture at the University of Hertfordshire on the BA Graphic Design & Illustration Course, Act as an industry consultant for Created Academy (Fancy) and speak at events/on podcasts and to anyone who will listen, often around the themes of overcoming failure, mental health awareness and accessibility within the creative industries.
As someone who lives day-to-day with ADHD it took me most of my early years to come to terms with who I am, and what I wanted to do with my life. In the process of this I was made redundant from my first three roles within the industry, and quit my last full-time role due to a mental health crisis and burnout. As a result of this, my outlook has always been one of trying to help others succeed in life based on what they deem to be a success (not what others tell them) or to help them to better navigate and prepare for anything which might come their way.
