Dear Sirs,

After seeing the advert for a creative artworker, I would like to apply for this position. Im a freelance creative artworker/designer with a full range of design and artworking skills in print. I have 10 years experience working in many different companies including advertising and design.

My abilities encompass taking a project from an art director or client brief through to finished print-ready or web-ready artwork. My specialisms include illustration and hi-end retouching. I have very strong software skills using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, QuarkXpress and good Freehand knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word and Powerpoint). I have professional experience of artworking for marketing, advertising, pharmaceutical, corporate, display, POS, packaging, events, publishing, websites and DTP presentations. I have creative design experience in DM, POS, press ads, outdoor, B2B, retail, travel and logos/branding.

I have worked at different levels within teams, as team manager and leader as well as more modest roles. I am able to manage my own time to meet deadlines and along with the ability to be proactive and troubleshoot problems to ensure high quality and technical compliance, I feel I will be an asset to any company or project team.
