About me

I am Begoa F. Martin, a practising artist (with focus on graphic novel, illustration and photography) now based in London with an abroad interdisciplinary practice and I show both nationally and internationally. I am currently finishing a MA in photography at London College of Communications - University of Arts London.

I am very experienced with Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc), and also I have experience working as a graphic novel artist and illustrator.

I had the opportunity to work with great artists such as the writer Rafael Marin (Fantastic Four) as a comic artist in Spain, the artist and actor Terrance Zdunic in USA, and as a storyboard artist in London.

I graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Seville (Spain), where I specialized in drawing and graphic design and the Winchester School of Art (England) in the New Media pathway, where I re-discovered photography, formal illustration and other media (with a 2.1 degree level at the Winchester School of Art).

I have experience within the illustration and graphic novel industry, where I have worked as a graphic novel artist in Spain, a storyboard artist in London and also as a collaborative illustrator for the actor and comic artist Terrance Zdunich from the USA.

I have been also working at Winchester School of Art and The Winchester Gallery, and my work encompassed a wide range of administrative and creative responsibilities:

I am specially interested in artistic photography and retouching, and of course graphic novels. With regards to the Design Intern placement, I do own a DSLR (Canon EOS 1000D and I've got access to Canon EOS 5D I), therefore I have got experience using these cameras. I also have HTML and basic CSS knowledge.
