About me
I am a Nottingham Trent University graduate with a BA Honours degree in Decorative Arts. I specialised in surface pattern and print design, including fabric designs. During my degree I developed a variety of skills and print techniques and a good eye for detail and colour, which enabled me to create both contemporary and vintage designs in home ware, wallpaper, cushions and greeting cards. I really enjoy working with patterns and colours and incorporating them into contemporary and traditional textiles using Photoshop and digital print. I work well in a team and have strong verbal communication and organisational skills. I am very interested in the design of fabrics and colour schemes, how these work together and am keen to develop my skills further.
