About me
I have graduated from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design with a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Product and Furniture Design (). This degree involved considerable research work and delegation for both individual and group projects throughout the three-year course. I also have encountered a wide range of 3D modelling, rendering and CAD related programmes of which I am proficient in.
As a founding member and spokesperson for Collective Five, a collective I have just exhibited alongside at the New Designers exhibition, I have gained many skills; specifically coordinating, organising and working as part of a team. Being the key organiser, Press Officer and PR of Collective Five I have increased my communication skills and have been successful in the role building up confidence and ability in both public and press relations.
I also have a clean drivers licence. I have passed a basic TEFL course in teaching English. I am a resourceful, flexible, sensible, hard working person with basic office skills in filling, typing and reception work. I have experience in telephone work and data entry, I am also computer literate in the Microsoft windows package. I consider that I have a good telephone manner and voice and manage to put people at ease quickly.
In my gap year I worked in a school in Bangalore India with street children. I had responsibilities for the children; the work involved many challenges. I am enthusiatic, quick, creative and love a challenge.
