About me

Beam is an entrepreneur, arts + crafts expert, and stylist for props/interiors/venues/store fronts.
In 2007, Beam started a social enterprise popularly known as Shop Artwine that was known for its handmade colourful felt products. These adorable little trinkets of playful desk accessories were distributed to leading bookstores nationwide. It was made possible by tapping the skills of young mothers and out of school youth from deprived communities in Metro Manila that Beam would share her crafting knowledge to.
By 2010, Artwine has branched out to creating handmade flowers for weddings, garment manufacturers and other bespoke commissions.
Her education in MultiMedia Arts, previous work experience in Cosmopolitan magazine and her expertise on the arts + crafts industry has given her a diverse skill set that allows her to take lead from conceptualisation, fabrication to styling picture-perfect spaces. Her extensive work on interiors, magazines, commercials, event venues or store fronts established her as one of the leading set stylists in the Philippines.
She has been featured in numerous television shows, publications, websites and events. She loves sharing her experience as a creative entrepreneur through public engagements and workshops and love-love-loves encouraging others to keep reaching for their dreams.
In 2020, Beam moved to Manchester, United Kingdom and continued her career as a visual stylist, prop maker, set designer, and workshop facilitator. She worked full time in THG Studios as an Interior Stylist but is currently seeking freelance work.

At the same time, she is refining her expertise in arts and crafts by creating exquisite flowers in Blooms by Beam. She envisions that through this new pursuit, she will be able to once again empower Filipina mothers by giving their skills a spotlight but this time in a global market.
