To whom it may concern,

I am writing to your company to see if you have a vacancy for a Trainee Interior Design /Architect Assistant.

As you will see from my CV, I am due to graduate this year from Westminster University with a BA (Hons) Architecture and Interior Design. I have gained a range of skills and knowledge which I am now ready to use in a real working setting. I particularly enjoyed going on site visits because it allowed me to see how the architectural principles I was learning were applied in practice

I have also had a placement at Hopkins Architects. I found this a very insightful experience and it confirmed that I had made the correct career choice as I enjoyed my time immensely. I was based in the Design and Architecture Department and was given exposure to hand and computer drawings and detailing. I was also involved in model making.

As an individual, I a determined, ambition and set myself high standards. Given the opportunity, I would apply myself conscientiously and take every opportunity to develop on a personal level while being committed the objectives of your company.
