About me
A Politecnico di Milano Master's of fashion design sudent
A self-taught fashion and jewellery designer who got her way into fashion through studying Architecture first
Parallel to my architecture degree, I started learning fashion which I loved since I was a child and tried to learn at 11 when I saved to buy fashion magazines to be aware of what big fashion houses produce. Later in college, I started attending sewing and pattern making courses, taught myself how to drape and studied fashion history from the books. Moreover, while I had limited resources for my fashion education my passion did not stop, I attended several online courses such as; Fashion and sustainability from London College of Fashion, Management of fashion and luxury companies from Bocconi university, A history of royal fashion from Glasow University and Fashion as design from MOMA. My background in architecture was my main inspiration which pushed me to establish my own brand "Panse" which later got me to be featured in several national and global media, Also my trials and exploration in graphic design and character design made me think of fashion differently. My journey into becoming a fashion designer was not easy at all, I had to challenge having very few resources and opportunities in my country, my required work in such a tough school like architecture and I also had to work part-time to be able to afford to attend the sewing and draping courses but nothing ever had me stopped fighting for what I wanted and it required determination, hard work, mental strength and above all holding up to my hopes and dreams.
