ACTIVITIES MANAGER at KKCL English (Roxinford Education Group)

January 2017 - October 2018 - London

I manage all aspects of our activities, events and excursions. I hire and train our Activity Leaders, with special attention on building a team of professional, competent and happy staff members. I managed up to 40 people at the time.

I also train our interns in Marketing and Sales.

I have a budget and I am entrusted with making spending decisions.

I am in charge of the communications and marketing of the school activities.

I invented KKCL TV!: an educational and marketing tool to promote the school among students, parents, teachers and agents. It is a very complex project and every time we pull out a new satisfactory episode I see it as a miracle of creativity and technical skills.

On special occasions I also teach students and run workshops on photography and filmmaking.

MARKETING MANAGER at Gallery Teachers (Roxinford Education Group)

September 2017 - October 2018 - London

I take care of the image and communications of the company, especially with its online presence. Part of my duties involve producing educational and corporate videos to enhance the presence of the company online.

I am also Head of the editorial department and I have to produce and supervise all the content produced. This involves managing authors, articles and producing relevant videos and podcasts for educators.

Lastly, I represent the company in international events.

CREATIVE MANAGER at Young Talent Festival (Roxinford Education Group)

January 2018 - October 2018 - London

I lead the team that organizes this event. Specifically, I take care of its presence online, managing all the marketing aspects in order to find new sponsors and participants and create the necessary buzz around the event. I produce relevant content and videos for its promotion, I select the talent and build up the show according to the performers' skills, to create the best event possible.

OFFICE MANAGER at Excursiones Jesus

April 2015 -December 2016 - Tenerife

I managed a team and sold excursions for one of the busiest companies in the island, developing business relations with the providers. Thanks to my initiative, I turned a peripheral office into the second strategical office of the company.

PHOTOGRAPHER at Fotoeventi

The company had activities and shops in a number of hotels and I managed the shop in several of them. My duties involved taking pictures of the guests and sell them. After that experience I started a website about photography () still running and I wrote the essay My Son Wants No Pictures.

FREELANCE ENGLISH TEACHER

November 14 - December 2016 (Tenerife)

I worked from home as a private English Teacher and took agency jobs with tailor made courses for professionals. The majority of my students were adults seeking to improve their English quickly to be more competitive in their workplace. Some were children whose parents wanted to integrate the school program. Although my initial idea was to move to Tenerife to Teach English, I soon found out that this could be just a part time job.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE at Passion Distribution (London)

March 13 - June 2013 (London)

Duties included working on the promotion of the titles of this TV Distributor, photo retouching jobs, designing the flyers, updating the web site (front end and back end) and the catalogues for the MIP TV.

MARKETING MANAGER at Risk Reward (London)

I managed and promoted a special e-learning project to train the volunteers of Save the Children.

Part of my duties involved writing copy to raise the media attention on the company, using

LinkedIn to find new potential customers, monitoring the increase in views of the company

website using Google Analytics and managing PPC campaigns (SEO and SEM) through Google

AdWords. I also updated the website, did Photoshop jobs and designed the promotional

material.

While managing my own production company, I have been involved into small and big projects, some of them involving educational videos and activities, then corporate, short films and feature films. This has been the most important school for me to understand how to structure a project and its budgeting. Since then, every time I work on a project I pretend I am working with my money to understand if this is the best decision possible to take.
