ABOUT

Welbeck and their partners have come together to create a holistic approach to tackling housing issues across the United Kingdom. Their vision is to lead a new dawn for housing provision and community development, a sustainable alternative to traditional expansion — integrating homes, jobs, nature, education, leisure, and local food production.

The brand, rooted in the belief of ‘A growing community’, unites the partners. Together, they want to create a thriving community that evolves, fostering a harmonious blend of local and rural living.

We worked with the partners to guide the vision, positioning and offer across many channels. Bringing clearly defined and evidence-based messaging to life and delivering it in creative, emotive, engaging ways.

The aim is to win the hearts and minds of a diverse range of stakeholders, from government officials to local residents. To transform the NIMBY (not in my backyard) mentality into YIMBY (yes in my backyard) enthusiasm, working collaboratively with existing communities.

The brand embodies a bold and characterful tone, led by the iconic North Barnes Farm Cockerell logo. The strong voice, brought to life through a dynamic multi-weight typography style, delivers impactful headlines and layered personality into all communications. Playful infographics are used to both simplify and bring personality to often complex information. The warm and varied color palette, inspired by farming and food production, combines with grid systems and graphic shapes to create visually rich illustration and layouts. Finally, our photography brings all those involved in the community to life through an honest and authentic style designed to resonate with our audiences.
