While government bodies are setting new targets and businesses are working towards achieving net zero, Landsec, a leading office space provider across the UK, has its own pioneering ambitions. They’re building all of their new developments well beyond current net zero benchmarks and decarbonising all of their existing assets.

With office space being a significant contributor to carbon output for most businesses, Landsec are not only surpassing targets for themselves but importantly helping their tenants achieve the same.

The Net zero Office Space brand invites existing and potential Landsec tenants to work as partners towards their own net zero goals.

Landsec saw an opportunity to share the approach they’re taking. To transform what might typically be seen as a complex narrative confined to corporate reporting into a customer-focused brand and marketing initiative. By leaving the complexity and technicalities of carbon reduction to the ‘find out more stage of communication’, the brand can engage creatively with its audiences, raising the issues and inviting collaboration.

The brand toolkit is bursting with vibrancy, cleverly adapting the Landsec mother brand into a suite of geometric graphics and illustrative imagery. This both avoids cliche environmental imagery and enables the simplifying of complex messages into engaging content. The tone is insightful, the typography is clean and everything comes together to interact on a black (power-saving) background.
