About me
Barry Golin is a creative consultant who has worn many hats in design, web, video and sound production but considers himself first and foremost, a copywriter.
He has written, produced and edited copy for the record industry (notably a 14 year EMI Music stint in LA and London), health, education and sport, and his material has appeared in trade magazines, The Guardian, MacUser magazines, and online for BBC Online, Recordboy.com, Tenniszoo.com, roadrunnerstheband.com and many more.
He has also written extensively for client's internal communications requirements, including public relations experts Weber Shandwick and InsidEdge. From ad copy to press releases, from newsletters to ghost letters from the CEO, and from design style guides to digital communications handbooks, Golin has made a succesful career out of taking a blank page and turning it into something useful, worthy and credible.
Golin's technical knowledge in the world of desktop publishing and all things AppleMac is extensive. He can deliver raw copy or fully realised QuarkXpress or InDesign page layouts, as well as HTML.
