About me
The reason I would like to find a job as a designer is simple: I love design, innovation, and working with human behavior, as well as imagining and creating new future ideas which could help the world and the way we live.
I would be interested in working as a Creative Researcher, Designer, or Graphic Designer, because I would best be able to connect my passion for the environment with visual aesthetics, graphic skills, and product design experience that I have acquired in the past decade working and studying in Europe and at MIT (Massachussets Institute of Technology).
My education is multi-disciplinary and has taken place in a variety of locations, including Barcelona, Milan and Paris and last year in the US, where I went to improve my English in order to have the opportunity to work with interesting companies. I would bring a fresh perspective, drawing from the multi-cultural values of my experience.
During my years in Barcelona, I completed a Masters Degree in Cool Hunting and Qualitative Research Trends, identifying trends, hot spots, and the evolution from modern culture to post-modern culture to the hyper-modern culture, and now, the friction culture of today. I also worked in a lighting design studio where I experimented with interactive design and installation; discovering the power and majesty of light.
Last winter/spring I collaborated with the Senseable City Lab at MIT where I was invited to join a workshop on sustainable and smart cities of the future. In this workshop I developed a project for General Electric, targeting their desire to sponsor a project in Rio de Janeiro that modernizes the city's infrastructure and water quality in preparation for the upcoming World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016. The experience I had there initiated my interest in sustainability at a global level, and now I would like to find a job where I could support that new goal, as well as to contribute sharing these ideals with the world, because we only have one Earth and we have no choice but to take care of it.
Throughout my life, I have assembled a body of creative projects in multiple disciplines. A selection of my drawings, designs, corporate logos and video compositions are available on my website
