About me
Hi,
I'm Bárbara Oettinger Searle, a Chilean illustrator and designer with a passion for visual storytelling across mediums. My work bridges traditional illustration and digital design, crafting visuals that inform, inspire, and engage audiences.
What I Do:
Illustrate for education & culture: From activity books for the Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales to maps, portraits, and heritage projects.
Design for impact: Logos, branding, and digital campaigns for NGOs, cultural institutions, and private clients.
Collaborate & create: Award-winning projects (FONDART, Juan Downey Prize) and exhibitions.
Why I Love What I Do:
Visuals have the power to connect, educate, and evoke emotion.
Beyond the Studio:
When I'm not creating, I'm exploring museums, experimenting with new digital tools, or diving into art history. My work has been featured in publications, exhibitions, and even unexpected places—like beer labels, heritage guides, and animated campaigns.
Let's create something extraordinary together!
