I am a trained and widely-experienced proofreader with an indepth knowledge of English language grammar.
I began in newspapers and worked on business, agricultural and horticultural publications.
I have proofread several books and freelance for a London bookdealer producing his quarterly catalogue.
I am also a trained copywriter and have extensive experience in writing advertising copy for radio.
I am proficient in Quark Xpress, have basic knowledge of HTML and at the end of February I am taking a Book House Publishing Training Centre Web Editing Skills course to further my skills.
I have an employer-friendly work ethic and a client-oriented attitude. I am happy to put the work in to get the job finished. I can work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
