About me

I am a Graphic Designer with 10 years experience designing greeting cards, personalised corporate christmas cards, personalised business stationery, web page designs, logos, web banners, flyers, flash animations, brooches and catalogues. I worked for a supplier of Office Depot, Staples, Debenhams, John Lewis, WHSmiths, Clintons, Ido-personalise, Bride & Groom Direct and PDSA. I was also responsible for products, banners and branding on Ido-personalise, Bride and Groom Direct and CCA Occasions.

For the first few years I mainly designed greeting cards which gave me strong illustration and character design skills along with photo manipulation skills.

When designed brooches and catalogues I have done a lot of the photography and all of the photo retouching myself and I have always designed from concept to creating the final print ready PDF.

After 10 years working for a company I have decided to set up on my own as of January 2012 following the birth of my daughter in July 2011. I am keen to establish a strong client list and therefore my rates are £150 per day and as I am very fast at what I do so this is great value for money.

Freelance jobs that I have done include rebranding an estate agents and proving them with a new logo, letterheads, business cards, property detail sheets, compliment slips and for sale sign, for this job the client was charged for 3 days work, totalling £450 and took a total of 2 weeks complete allowing for clients changes and amendments. I have also designed postcards and leaflets for small companies and designed business cards and stationery for 123print.
