About me
I am a professional writer. I have freelanced for marketing management companies and magazines, written web copy and worked as an advertising copywriter in India.
In 2005 I came to the UK to study for MA Professional Writing and gain international exposure. I majored in business writing and non-fiction writing. In the UK I have written web copy for a non-profit organisation and also contributed articles to magazines and e-zines.
I am interested in writing for the non-profit sector as well. I have worked with CRY - Child Rights and You, India's leading NGO. I am also writing a non-fiction novel about servants in India.
I specialise in branding, tone-of-voice issues and PR. My USP is lucid writing, employing a clever turn of phrase. I am detail oriented and can work independently as well as a part of a team. I am used to working under pressure, to tight deadlines. My global perspective gives me the extra edge.
I can also conjure delicious hot curry from scratch.
