I am an excellent team player, who works effectively with other team members whilst also ensuring the highest quality of competency working as an individual. Being familiar with the publishing, advertising & media environment, I have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and am also to adhere to tight deadlines.

I have extensive work experience in editorial departments, my current position involves using a media editorial database, writing up Trade press stories, Proof reading and sub editing existing copy for a B2B publication. I have experience in producing copy for online as well as for magazines and e-letters. I am also confident in writing for varied audiences; I have written copy, which is aimed at B2B clients, marketing and advertising clients as well as for music and entertainment industries. I am also competent in dealing with media enquiries from clientele at all business levels; I am aware of the importance of discretion and the ability to remain sympathetic to all complaints and enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with to the best of my ability.

I possess a wealth of creativity, mainly working in the creative side of the media industry and have also achieved an honours degree in Media Technology, which along with relevant projects and freelance experience; has advanced my interest in Editing, Subbing and proof reading.

As a freelance journalist I have excellent written and communication skills, along with an exceptional command of the English language. I maintain a high level of professionalism and can deal with clients in a proficient manner. I have experience writing for both consumer and B2B sectors, and can also produce relevant and attention grabbing press releases. Experience in journalism also emphasizes the need for in depth and accurate research skills, which I possess, and these skills are exemplified daily in my current role as Editorial and Advertiser Research Executive.
