About me
For more than twenty years I have been artfully weaving my training as a designer with my inner most passion for theatre and puppetry. Born in Chilean Patagonia, I've spent the last decade nurturing my art practice in Naarm (Melbourne), driven by an inner desire to create and expand my talents.
My projects have consistently been the result of an inner most yearning to explore diverse artistic disciplines such as illustration, photography and the performing arts, always reflecting on the poetic nature of the day to day; looking for greatness in the inconspicuous and the overlooked intricacies of my personal story as a pilgrim, mestiza and migrant.
As part of the Latin American feminist collective, Colectiva Abya Yala, I actively participate in community art projects and collective reflections through the storytelling tradition of 'arpilleras,' using textiles to share narratives/counter narratives.
