About me

My name is Asif Afzal and I graduated in BA (Hon's) Product Design Sustainable Futures from Surrey Institute of Art & Design University College who is currently based as a freelance Graphic / Product designer, seeking a challenging opportunity. As a practicing Graphic Designer, I have worked in the Marketing, PR and Advertising sector by producing brand communication work for a company called Echo Marketing and Media for various cliental lists that includes such names as Orange and Kodak. My primary role was to develop and execute creative design solutions. I was required to liaise with clients to produce work from conception to completion . Developed and demonstrated a strong, creative style in line with branding. I was fully immersed in conceiving creative solutions to satisfy the criteria of the brief via use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark on both PC and Mac platforms. Furthermore provided creative support for other team members, as well as organizing and delivering high quality level of work whilst in a extremely pressurized environment.Within my experience I have successfully exhibited portfolio work at the New Designer's exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London, as well as my degree showcase at my University College's end of year exhibition. Therefore I understand the importance of creating visually creative displays for products to attract audiences as I had established whilst working for Echo Marketing and Media.
