About me

London based Architectural Designer and Visualiser, Ashrakur Rahman. In my most recent works I have worked with specific techniques using digital and hand drawn methods to create a variety of designs. But previously worked with media including painting, installation, CAD generated, metal and wood works.

My Visualisation background and extensive travel provides myself with a diverse source of inspiration, and art direction to develop high technical skills in diverse fields. A keen sense of architectural photography and the importance of light and texture would be the thread in all my works. Every piece of work is developed as a project, from sketches to realisation, but also following a strong concept. The study and the reinterpretation of urban design in a forever evolving world.

I am currently working for Open City London. This is an amazing opportunity and involves; model making and editing videos and audio for YouTube and The Open City Podcast, as well as designing assets for Social Media on the charity's social media accounts. Working closely with the Director and other members of the curating team. I am very passionate about Architecture and took this opportunity to learn more about Architecture and construction as this role helps me immerse myself in the environment in which I see myself in the future.
