Dear Sir/MadameI am submitting my CV to you in response to your advertisement for an in-game icon designer. I believe I have the skills that you are seeking and would like to be considered for this position.I have recently completed a 3 year degree, BA Hons Computer Game Design and now wish to further my skills within an environment which you boast. This course helped me develop a broad range of abilities to enable me to become a competent designer. During my time at university I produced creative concepts, artwork and graphical assets to be used in computer games. I became fluent with 3D Studio Max and have worked thoroughly with the Adobe Suite. Working within a team of 8 I helped produce a demo version of a game which is to be completed released through Xbox Live Arcade available through download. This game is featured in my portfolio, I am proud to disclose that it received 2 first place prizes at the Games Republic Showcase Event 2009 awarded by game developers; Rockstar and Team 17.
