My name is Ashley La Grua.

I read the advertisement for the Broadcast Journalist role at 107.3 Exeter and I am telling you about my skill set in the hope you may consider me for the role.

I have completed a (BA) honours degree in Print Journalism and a (NCTJ) accredited qualification in Broadcast Journalism and have worked as freelance Broadcast Journalist in London for the past seven years.

During this time I have taken part in work placements internships and freelance opportunities at numerous media organizations and have learned skills gained experiences and built up contacts whilst doing so.

I am passionate hard working and always have ideas for radio shows and programs, able to write scripts sharply and to the point produce and present news packages and read bulletins, I know media law and Ofcom regulations thoroughly and work well independently as well as in a team, can speak confidently on the phone and in person.
