About me

Across my 19 years in the industry, I've always been attracted to the smaller more agile and progressive creative shops. Starting my career at BDP London, I moved to Dynamo where I experienced lengthy secondments at H.J Heinz and J. Sainsbury that changed my outlook on the agency model.

I joined Brave in 2005 when it was a three-man start-up and helped build it to what it is today - an entrepreneurial and dynamic agency with loyal client partners across the globe. My sector experience includes consumer audio/visual, beauty and lifestyle, retail and entertainment.

In the past 18 months I have led Brave to achieve impressive business growth winning clients such as Amazon, Google and Greenpeace culminating in it's acquisition by Lagardere Plus, the consultancy division of Lagardere Sports and Entertainment towards the end of 2017.

I firmly believe that smaller creative shops are the one most capable of rapidly driving all forms of positive change across the industry and wants Brave to lead this charge; whether this is to rethink the agency commercial model with Brave developing our own products and brands; drive and action the diversity debate or pioneer new tools to help tackle how creativity can often be unwittingly diluted and pasteurized within more corporate organisations. My recent work and thinking on how biometrics can help fuel and liberate braver thinking with the conception of the Bravery Index is yet further evidence of this. A topical area where I see data and creativity having a positive symbiotic relationship.

Outside of the day job I'm a keen industry speaker having appeared in the Grand Audi at Cannes Lions as well as keynote slots at Adweek, IAB Engage, Eurobest and Dubai Lynx. Outside of the more conventional forum I also appeared on television as a guest commentator on the final of The Apprentice.
