About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
Growing up in Easton, Connecticut, I began working in the entertainment industry from the time I was twelve years old for Anderson Associates, my father's production company specializing in corporate productions. Learning hands on about cameras and different forms of editing, I helped out on various projects including special events for The New York Yankees, Nissan, and New York Fashion Week. Adding to my background in cameras and editing, I received my Bachelors Degree at Syracuse University in 2002 majoring in Television, Radio & Film, studying the communication field in great depth learning both the business and creative sides of the industry. After spending five years as a television studio Production Manager at Soundview Media, I decided to further my education and headed to London to obtain a Masters Degree at The London Film School. These past three years in London I have been fortunate enough to spend my time writing, directing and producing a vast range of short films and documentaries that are set both abroad and in London studios.
I have been exposed to a number of aspects of the production world, from program creation, directing, and editing, to scheduling and marketing projects through the local communities. My experience demonstrates my capability of working with others through the creative process while meeting the challenges presented to me. I have more than 15 years of solid production experience. I am confident that my combination of practical work experience and solid educational understanding has prepared me for making an immediate contribution. I understand the level of professionalism and communication required for success in the highly competitive entertainment industry. My background and professional approach will provide your workplace with a highly resourceful individual who values teamwork yet knows the importance of individual integrity.
My record of academic achievements and professional career history, demonstrates attributes that make me a valuable employee. My CV/Resume is enclosed to provide you with details of my skills and accomplishments, but I am certain that a personal interview would more fully reveal my desire and ability to contribute to your organization. If there is additional information I could furnish please let me know. I welcome the opportunity to further discuss my candidacy. Thank you for your time and consideration.
