About me
I'm 2:1 graduate in (hons) in Product Design. I currently work as a Solidworks Design Engineer at Hughes Safety shower's, which design, manufactured and assemble safety showers, eyebaths and decontaminant units all in house and shipped globally.
I currently use Solidworks 2016 and PDM to develop the designs at the customer's request using revisions. This method helps manage the product lifecycle throughout the whole company as sales; workshop and engineering are working on the latest development of a product. I've used Solidworks and the MRP (material requirement planning) system to create components, assemblies, technical drawings and bills of material, which are to be used by the workshop.
