About me
Lead Product Designer with eleven years of experience between London, Dubai, USA, Italy, specialized in UI and UX projects.
Graduated in 2008 at the European Institute of Design in Communication & Art Direction, I started right away working in a major agency, Martel Italy, as a Jr Art director helping the design team to plan and develop BTL and ATL ads for clients such as Doctors with no borders, Heineken, Audi, Three (telephone company). Subsequently, with an established customer base package, I decided to start my own business and work as a freelancer in Milan.
Traveled to Silicon Valley in 2012 Where I attended courses in various companies such as Google, Shazam, Dropbox, Microsoft Bing, IBM, and the startup school "Mind the bridge" in San Francisco, all of them focusing on UI/UX design, and obtained the HCI (Human-Computer interaction) certificate at the Stanford University.
Moved to London in 2013 to start a new chapter, I continued working as a Senior Visual Designer for clients and agencies such as McLaren, Coca-Cola, Lloyds Bank, Virgin Media, Op Bank, O2, Mayor of London, and others.
In August 2014 I had the pleasure to permanently join the creative team as Senior Product Designer at Unii, a London-based startup, working on the Unii and the Fling app.
In 2015 I've become Global Design Manager at HomeAway, building and managing initially a team of 12 London-based designers and other 7 worldwide-based ones between the US, Germany, Spain, and France. This eventually expanded bringing the total number of designers to 55.
Freelancing at the moment between London and Dubai, working for agencies or directly with clients designing products that are now being used by more than 20 million people per year around the globe.
