About me

I am a smart and determined woman who is sensitive and appreciative of many cultures. My dream is to find work in Italy and live in Italy. I fell in love with Italy when I was a child. Its history, culture, food, people and the importance Italians place on family. I have visited Italy 12 times.

My professional career has been focused on marketing and research, both B2B and B2C. I am a bulldog when it comes to research and can find the smallest of details to make a difference with my projects, impacting growth for the company's revenue.

I have made several hundred contacts with Italian companies on LinkedIn and have already interviewed in-person with some Italian companies. I have been a member of Houston's Italian Chamber of Commerce for three years, participating in many events and exhibitions. I also take it upon myself to teach my fellow Americans to not order a cappuccino after lunch!

My parents are Cuban and I grew up speaking Spanish. Before each of my trips to Italy, I practice my Italian. Knowing Spanish certainly helps me with the language. Without a doubt, I feel once I am immersed in Italy on a day to day basis, my Italian language skills will improve.
