About me

I have worked as a Designer in a Digital Printing office, in Cyprus, for almost a year. In this position I earned knowledge and practical skills working effectively with clients in the field of pre-press. Also, I had the responsibilities to organise meetings with clients, to prioritise tasks, and to ensure the printing is on schedule - always working in close collaboration with the clients and other colleagues. Working as a Designer in this company, I further developed my skills as a Graphic Designer; my role was to create design solutions based on the clients' needs and standards. As I was the only designer I had to take a brief and execute on the guidelines of the customer. I was in the advantage position to use a range of design software, either PC or MAC format. Prior to this, I have worked in the position of a Supervisor Graphic Designer in a well-known retail shop in Cyprus, the Orphanides Public Company, for a year. In this placement, I had the huge responsibility to supervise the signing and indoor promotions of several branches across Cyprus; also I had managerial duties coordinating events in the shops. I have also studied packaging design; Sadly I do not have any work experience in this area though. I studied packaging design after i worked for Orphanides Public Company, i was fascinated seing good packaging making sales on its on.
