About me

Dear Sir/Madam

My passion has developed since childhood, where art and design was one of my favourite subjects. Through doing my degree and work in my spare time, I have become abundant in many skills and my interest and desire to work in this field has deepened greatly. Doing an honours degree in Textiles for Fashion had given me a creative opportunity to experiment, design, and explore many areas, and as a result I discovered that I was highly talented in the areas of print, design, and embellishment.

The skills I have gained during my degree are invaluable, from manipulating fabrics, to the researching the latest trends; my years of study and practice have given me a thorough understanding of all the aspects behind print, design, and textiles. . Each design that I do is highly researched and made relevant to my target market, which helps me finely tune the final piece and ensure that it will stand out in today's greatly competitive market; I understand that creativity is vital, but it is also necessary for the product to have commercial success.

I am an excellent communicator of ideas and regularly do presentations to deliver my thoughts and ideas to a wide audience. I am keen to be as part of a team and have participated in many team projects where we have to combine our ideas successfully and have proved that our joint efforts were successful even whilst under pressure

I would like to develop my skills and knowledge in this trade, and I am looking forward to some hands on experience in working as part of a professional team and hopefully expand my knowledge as well as make use of any of the skills I have to offer.
