About me

I am a fashion design graduate trying to break into the industry after having some time away caring for family. Hopeful that my enthusiasm and constant need to improve my skillset will take me far despite having little experience. I have a passion for designing patterns and it is a sector within the design industry I would like to eventually work in. I have been working on improving my skills within print design and feel I am at a stage where I can produce creative, colourful and intricate prints with speed and precision. My garment collections and print designs are all heavily influenced by Islamic Art/History/Textiles and Asian culture. It is a subject matter that is very personal to me and will always continue to inspire and influence my creativity. I am hopeful that by sharing my work in an environment like this, I will obtain more connections and receive constructive feedback about my work as I feel that is the only way to improve.
