About me

Currently self employed offering domestic and commercial environmentally aware interior design, but would prefer to be part of, or managing a team, as I enjoy the stimulation of proffessional interaction and feedback. I offer an exceptionally high level of creativity, tend towards a very contemporary organic style, and a highly innovative approach thriving on bespoke solutions. My understanding of processes and materials is excellent, as is, my knowledge of structure, electrics and plumbing and other building envelope issues. Constant monitoring of new materials, technology and products is a vital part of my current practice, as is a firm commitment to answering client briefs in a way most suitable to their requirements, with absolute respect for the unique individuality of each and every personal or corporate identity, constant effective communication and a non-dictatoril attitude. My best work has come from briefs requiring careful thought and allowing unusual and creative solutions. This is not neccessarily dependant on budget, as I believe that clever use of materials and labour are key to effective bespoke design. My drawing skills are excellent, and my ICT training includes profficiency in the microsoft office suite, CAD, and I am currently learning Sketchup. I hold a full clean driving license. My past experience has involved working freelance on a wide and very varied range of A+D projects in Europe and Southern Ireland.
