About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in application for the position of Project Coordinator
I am currently the Project Coordinator at Selfridges London, coordinating projects from brief to delivery stage. I provide project management to the Creative, Operations, Buying and Merchandising teams, supporting Senior Project Managers, forward planning, managing budgets and expectations, and providing administrative support at every stage.
I am articulate, ambitious and hardworking, as well as quick to grasp new skills, processes and software, all of which are essential qualities needed to work in business. Having led my current team for over a year, I am extremely well organised and work effectively to tight deadlines. I develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business, from operations and support, to management and directorate, as well as external clients and vendors.
I strongly believe that my role leading a team in one of the UK's biggest retailing businesses has given me a plethora of skills that are fundamental for this role. These include; communicating with internal and external parties, managing and coordinating projects from brief to distribution, forward planning and risk management, mentoring a team, and ensuring brand integrity is maintained at all times.
I have a good working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, allowing me greater depth of understanding of design briefs & their approximate time frames & constraints. This enhanced insight allows me to better allocate & distribute work amongst the designers that I am managing, as well as communicating clearly & efficiently with all parties regarding progress & delivery.
Through my current business skills as well as my keen interest and dedication to additional learning in my spare time, I feel I could add value and a steady supportive hand to your team.
I am extremely interested in working for you and becoming part of your team and would appreciate the opportunity to come in, talk to you and explain why I feel I could be a great asset.
Yours faithfully,
Anup Bhatt
