About me

I am hardworking and reliable. I can work efficiently whether as part of a team or independently and have good time-management skills. Whilst quiet, I am polite and helpful to others. I hope to always work to my best abilities and am eager to learn new skills. I've worked full-time in the creative industry since 2013. I work in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign and XD. I also regularly use Wordpress and Divi to design and create websites.

I am applying for positions in Graphic, UX or Web Design because I believe I am well suited for the job, and my past experience working in a graphic design position at Connected Digital helped me further my UX and Web design skills throughout my time there. Whilst working with the company, I designed the software for products such as Process Bliss, Yack, People Platform, MuJo Fitness App, Peepoc, Spotlight Casting Apps, DAC Alto Interface, and ZineGenie apps for many magazines including the Times Educational Supplement and BNI Magazine. I also helped establish the brand for Process Bliss, Yack, People Platform, Peepoc, and ZineGenie.

I have helped create many websites for companies and organisations. Whilst working at Hibu I helped shape the website of many small to medium sized businesses around the UK, and whilst working with Connected Digital I designed and built many in Wordpress. In my spare time, I have helped local organisations by creating websites for their community including a website for the Barton Stacey Parish Council that conforms with the WCAG 2.1 legislation. I have worked closely with these organisations and keep in contact should they encounter any problems in the future. This has all been unpaid work.

My degree at University focused on Graphic Design and multimedia formats such as print, web and animation. My time working for Hibu and Connected Digital has allowed me to further my passion for design by working with many clients and customers and allowed me to explore UX and Web design, which I've loved. It would be amazing to continue working in design and collaborate with more people in aim to create brands, products and websites for the future.
