About me

I am a young, aspiring graphic designer with two years experience in the commercial world. I previously graduated with an upper second class degree in graphic design, from Hertfordshire University. Throughout my short career, I have done work for prestigious companies such as EE, Lacoste, The Premier League and Orchard Pig, all of which can be seen in my portfolio. I have a very minimal, clean design style and my experience working with Lacoste, where I have designed for a high street fashion brand. Throughout these projects, I have done both print and digital design which includes, but is not limited to packaging design, advertising campaigns, social media graphics and app/website conceptual design.

I was previously employed as a Design and Marketing Assistant, so have a broad knowledge of design matters as well as the consumer market surrounding it which makes it so relevant to the target consumer that you are aiming to design for.

In regards to me as a designer, I have a "think outside the box" style that helps me to come up with some real exciting ideas. I also have a keen eye on consumer experience. This is vital as I tailor all my designs to generate a sense of emotion to the consumer, which really does get them engaged. I have a curious mind, and like to play with my ideas, to make them more relevant and exciting. My open-mindedness can be seen in my Orchard Pig project in my portfolio, generating great storytelling with a relevant concept and executing it in an appropriate manner. This is what I am capable of, and this is the kind of thought process that I encounter regularly.
