About me

Antonella Debellis is a multi-talented artist, writer, diving instructor, and photographer from Uruguay.

Her photography style is a unique blend of documentation, anthropology, and art.

After losing 30% of her visual field in 2012 because of a stroke, Antonella shifted her focus to long-term projects that explore social, economic, political, health, and personal issues.

She holds a degree in Art Photography from the ESD of Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and has 15 years of experience as a photo assistant for commercial and car photography across the world.

As a diver and underwater photographer since 2012 and PADI OWSI since 2017, Antonella has spent four years diving and capturing images both on land and underwater in Asia.

She has recently returned to Europe in May 2021.
