About me

I started out as a cartoonist, working for Marvel on their children's comics before moving into writing and drawing for various other comic publishers.

Then in a radical career change I went off to study advertising at Buckingham Chilterns University. Whilst there I won a student D&AD pencil for an RNIB poster, which came in handy and helped me get job at JWT. There I worked solo as a writer/art director and over three years I produced press and TV for most of the clients at JWT, including Nestle, Vodaphone, Unilever and the RAF. My most notable successes were writing and art directing a TV campaign for Yorkie ('It's not for girls') and creating the 'Dairylea Cows' for Kraft.

After departing JWT I freelanced in over 50 ad agencies, working on a diverse range of products and services.

Today I continue to freelance in advertising as a Creative and I also do illustration work for various clients.
