Anomaly's work
About Anomaly
My work is inspired by the beauty of nature, the interconnectedness of all existence, and the relationship between art, place and time.
It began during my travels, when I spontaneously created flowers from napkins and installed them in different locations. After settling in London, these small gestures evolved into larger sculptural installations.
By exaggerating botanical forms, I create organisms that seem simultaneously terrestrial, marine and extraterrestrial. Despite belonging to seemingly different worlds, these forms share visual similarities, reflecting my belief that everything in the universe is connected and ultimately part of one world.
Another essential aspect of my practice is the relationship between an artwork and its surroundings. Rather than simply occupying a space, my installations seek to become part of its environment, creating harmony with the location while participating in and celebrating a particular moment in its ongoing history.
