About me

Ann Wixley joined media agency OMD UK in November 2012 to break new ground as the agency's first ever Creative Director.

Her remit is to shape and stretch the agency's creative output, creating the kinds of ideas that earn OMD UK's clients a greater share of people's lives. Last year alone OMD UK racked up 70 Awards across over 17 clients demonstrating real depth and breadth of creative firepower.

Ann's focus on creativity in media started in 2003 when she founded a new non-traditional ideas division for WPP's strategy hot shop Nota Bene in South Africa. She went on to pioneer the Creative Director role in a media agency at MEC after moving to the UK in 2007, winning an IPA Grand Prix for Effectiveness and Silver Cannes Media Lion.

Ann's vision is to evolve and champion the creative role media plays in the marketing industry.
