Dear Sir/Madam

I am in my final year of my Fashion Graphics degree at Southampton Solent University and I am interested in joining studio team.

Fashion Graphics course is three-year degree with an in-depth graphic, design and fashion elements.

The course provided me with an opportunity to analyze and explore various aspects of the fashion and design industry that would be very useful for this position. The practical sessions were designed to improve my communication skills, ability to multi task and organize various aspects of work, both individually and as part of a team. The course gave me an in depth knowledge of graphics and illustration, design process, fashion marketing and merchandise, fashion and studio photography, and design software's as Adobe programs (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator), Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.

During my studies I completed my internship at Graphic/ Product design studio "Direct Designs" as a graphic/product designer. My responsibilities involved: designing home-wear and gift products for the biggest U.K retailers such as John Lewis, Next, Primark, creating mood boards and repeat prints for seasonal collections as well as complete product designs form sketch until production. This internship increased my knowledge of retail industry and design development process from studio until store. I had to work in very dynamic environment under tight deadlines.

Before my studies I had an opportunity to work in a Fashion studio. I took a role as an assistant for a fashion designer. This opportunity increased my knowledge of the industry and gave me an insight of day-to-day fashion business environment. My duties involved: to service customers, sketching and generating ideas, assisting in fittings and taking notes. This work placement and additional employment has developed my skills of organization, time management and prioritization.

I believe that my degree studies and work experience have prepared me to meet challenges and to work as a graphic designer for one of the world's most successful design studios.

I could bring to my job a qualified approach and enthusiasm. I have a very responsible attitude and am highly motivated and prepared to do the extra work necessary should I get the opportunity.
